Afternoon Dark Tea In The Library Room (4-5 Person Booking) Adult Only

After Dark Tea is not your traditional afternoon tea, it’s a refined, evening experience reimagined in true Queen City Cakes style. This exclusive, one night only event brings together the artistry of sweet and savoury in a thoughtfully curated five course journey designed to surprise, indulge, and delight.

Crafted in collaboration between chef Jssel Hysuik and pastry chef Jared Bugyi, two of Regina’s most respected talents in their fields, each course balances bold flavour with elegant presentation. Savoury creations meet elevated patisserie in a seamless progression, blurring the line between dinner and dessert in the most sophisticated way.

Set within the intimate charm of a historic heritage space, this hosted experience is designed to awaken the senses, from the first bite to the final pour. For those looking to deepen the experience, there will be optional wine by the bottle available on the night.

Course One
Gougères
Savoury choux, fois gras paté, port wine veile, brown butter mustard, mustard greens.

Course Two
Whipped Feta
Whipped feta, roasted cauliflower, roasted grapes, truffle honey, flaked salt, green oil, sour dough foccacia.

Course Three
Beef Carpaccio
Capers, preserved lemons, arugula, parmesan.

Course Four
Steelhead Trout
Courgette & herb puree, barley risotto, quinoa crusted, steelhead trout.

Course Five
Crémeux
Espresso, hazelnut, ganache, sponge, orange caviar.

Wine Pairing is optional, and can be added to the experience when booking.

Please Note: Tables accommodate up to 5 people maximum, for larger groups see After Dark Tea In The Woodland Wonder Room and The Purple Purple Room or for smaller groups see After Dark Tea In The Library Room or Tent Tassel Room. There is a time of 120 minutes per sitting. This is an adult only event, 19 and over are welcome, this is to ensure everyone enjoys the experience.

Booking Instructions: When adding to the basket you have 30 minutes to checkout, please make sure the date and time  (if the date is greyed out, it is either fully book or not available on that date) is noted when making payment.
